Though extremely competitive, automotive partnerships always spring up from time to time, especially weird ones. I immediately think of the (pre-FCA) Chrysler and Maserati partnership, the McLaren M81 Mustangs (which ran a 2.3L turbo 4-cyl by the way), Ford-GM 10-speed transmissions, that upcoming BMW-Toyota Zupra, Fiat-Mazda Fiata, Toyobarus...what partnership WON’T happen at this point?!
I still think we will NEVER see any brand under the Hyundai Motor Group work together with Toyota or Honda. If they have, well then...I doubt either of us saw it, so there!

I don’t know.
Toyota has been doing a lot of hybrid racing tech.
Ferrari seems to want to jump on the hybrid bandwagon.
There’s something there.

The world of cars is so vast and you can’t know about everything, that’s why I like oppo, you learn about things you’d never known otherwise.

I meant that Toyota can give Ferrari their hybrid notes in exchange for possibly the platform for the LFA successor, like how they’re dealing with BMW in a similar regard.

I feel exactly the same way, that’s why we are all here.

I agree, the BMW forums seem too douchy, even thought I have a proper 6-speed 4 door V8 M3, who wouldn’t get hated on for buying the wrong BMW but still. Oppo is a lot more my taste.

I really like Oppo for the same reason. I didn’t really bother even making accounts for other forums until I somehow found Oppo.

My friend showed me Jalopnik back in early 2009, and I started on the FP, I can’t remember when I found oppo.

didn’t Porsche have a hand in the 500E?

I’ve first found out about Jalopnik in 2013 because of a very good story -which I can’t remember- and through Jalopnik I found Oppo. And now I’m here. The first Oppo anniversary for me is next month.

That’s basically how we got Audi, though.

Well, Audi, BMW and Mercedes actually joined forces to buy Here Maps (Nokia’s Google Maps). Should be good news for future owners, as it is/was a brilliant app.

Yeah, I bought a Windows Phone last year, and it came with it installed. At first I missed GMaps, but now I actually prefer Here, especially since it offers way better offline functionality.
